Footcandle Films
Do you enjoy listening to people talk about films? What about those films that may not show up at the local multiplex but are instead showing at the smaller specialty theater across town? Then ”Footcandle Films” may be the show for you. Each month, the hosts discuss and review one ”smaller” film in-depth, discuss upcoming film news, and give recommendations on films that you may not be aware of, ones that you haven’t remembered in a while, or ones that are worth your time checking out. And all the while, the conversation never gets too ”high-brow” or pretentious. Just two guys who enjoy talking about movies. Your Hosts: Alan Jackson and Chris Frye, founders of the Footcandle Film Society.

What should be paired with a review of “Bridge of Spies” starring Tom Hanks to provide some variety? How about an action thriller about an immortal witch hunter? With the hosts not being able to make it to a screening of “The Last Witch Hunter” due to um…scheduling conflicts (yeah, that’s the ticket) they opted instead to go with the documentary “Finders Keepers” about an amputated human leg that is discovered in a grill bought at an auction.
Following the reviews are tidbits of entertainment news & as always recommendations for movies you should check out.
Recommendations: “Spectre”, “Montage of Heck”

Does Danny Boyle's film manage to capture the enigma of Steve Jobs according to self-proclaimed Apple fanboy Alan?
After finding out the answers to these questions you’ll also get your episodic doses of movie news & recommendations.
